What is the deal with texting these days?? Can anyone lift up their phone and dial a number?? I find it to be super annoying! Don't get me wrong, I am definitely the typical teenager and text a lot! But, I guess it just bugs me when friends can ONLY text!
Also its SUPER annoying when a guy will text you, to ask you on a date!
For 1:: That is just rude! I hate it. don't ever do that.
For 2:: Why do I want to get a text asking me, when it takes two seconds to call me up and say: "hey i was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me" not hard at all!
My solution??? ::
(I guess some girls could call me rude...) i always say no to a date when they ask me through texting. always. I'm sorry, i just really don't like it at all.
i do understand if your seriously dating someone and you always go on dates or with each other or whatever. then that is totally fine, but not if it's your very first date, and especially if you don't even really know him.
Don't say yes to boys who ask you over a text girls!!!! Don't DO IT!!! If he really wanted to ask you on a date, he would call. No matter how attractive he is, Don't say yes!! If he really wants to go with you, he will respect you and once you voice your opinion he would call you up and ask you that way.
i use this when i want to go, but don't want to say yes over a text (and it's worked!):: "Well i would've said yes, but i don't say yes over a text, maybe you could call me and ask me, and i might consider it then!" I don't think that is rude. i think guys shouldn't get away with being lazy! That's really what it is. They have had girls say yes before through a text, so let's keep asking them like that.
I'm sorry. this is probably longer then any of you even wanted to read about texting. but i feel very strongly about it. Call me old fashioned, but i love it when a guy will call me and ask me, (or even just ask me in person if he can.) am i the only person who thinks this?? please tell me i'm not!
