My latest getaway..

So about two weeks ago, Alisha and I went on a little getaway to LA, CALIFORNIA! :) It was so fun to just go and have fun, and not have to worry about anything! :) We left early Friday morning to get there by 9:30 there time. Then it only took about an hr or so to get our rental car, (it took forever!!!) Then we found our hotel and headed off to find the Hollywood sign. That was a complete fail, I hear its super hard to find, so I wasn't too disappointed that we couldn't find it! We shopped at the H&M on Sunset plaza and ate at one of those restaurants that you see where they eat outside on those cute little tables! I was so excited!



Then we also got to see the really nice rich areas where the celebs live. You know.. like in Beverly Hills and Belle Air





Then we hit Santa Monica Pier and the BEACH!!!

Then we went to our hotel, got cleaned up and went to go look around town, we ended up getting some dinner at a place called Quado's or something... it was mexican and it was really close so it worked! We then ended up just hanging in our room and we couldn't help but watch sports center! haha! then we went to bed, we had the game the next day.. so we wanted to be able to be ready to get up and go! Well of course we had to hit the mall in the morning, ended up hitting the wrong one first, but we finally went to the mall we wanted, shopped, got some subway and hit the road again to try and beat the traffic to the game! Traffic in LA is crazy! haha!

And then, of course this would happen to Alisha, at one point it was really exciting, she jumped up and then the next thing we knew her flip flop was broken! haha Luckily she has some nice co-workers that brought her some athletic tape!

Then we headed for home after the loss, at least it wasn't a blow out (unlike the next game we played against BYU which was most def a freakin awesome blowout!!! :)) We thought traffic would be terrible, but we ended up finding a different way to the freeway and it was awesome, not bad at all! We got home, ate some Carls JR, went to the hot tub, watched sports center again, and went to bed! The next day was sunday, so I mean what can you really do? We ended up going to the Manhattan beach, and the LA temple and then straight to the airport and headed on our way home! Such a fun trip! I loved going and spending time with alisha, and getting away from everyday life, it was awesome! Thanks again for the fun trip Alisha! :)
