Employee Appreciation Day?

Today was: "Employee Appreciation Day" at Myler Disability- The girls at work and I were talking about this all week, we are so excited for Friday to come! I mean come on, what is better than Free breakfast, and a free paid lunch, and it's pay day! (you have to find joy in the little things at work, when all you do is talk to cranky people all day) haha! So we were thinking Friday sounded pretty awesome! So getting to work was an adventure since it had snowed all night and according to the news report this morning there were too many accidents from provo to SLC to report. So, I finally get to work just so excited for the day to begin with an awesome breakfast, when I find out it isn't going to be ready until 9:30! (Who wants breakfast at 9:30??) I got there at 7:30 so to wait two hrs was torturous! But about 8:15 I hear people yelling and my supervisor tells us we have to go evacuate the building immediately! As we were leaving the building we noticed it wasn't smelling so great in there. We were practically running out of the office just to get away from the smell! haha! We found out later that we had a gas pipe break. So we got paid to sit in our cars and wait until about10:30 ish.. haha! We finally got breakfast about then as well. It was yummy- Einstein bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, fruit and juice. The rest of the day consisted of work and talking to people as usual. Not to exciting

But I think the best part of the day was an email from Brad Myler. haha! He said:

"Wow! What a great way to show are appreciation for our employees. Making them wait outside in the cold for two hrs; starving because they all came expecting breakfast." He said a lot more, but it was just praising us of our awesome work and how he wouldn't be in business if he didn't have employee's like us :) haha!

It was a very exciting morning, and it definitely helped the day go by much much faster! :)
