Into the hands of every individual is given a marvelous power for good or evil- the silent, unconscious, unseen influence of his life. This is simply the constant radiation of what man really is, not what he pretends to be. ~ William George Jordan

I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free!

You can thank Kenzie Rowley for getting that song stuck in my head all day on the 4th of July, so I though it would make a nice title to my blog post! :) haha! The past couple of weeks has been crazy and way way fun! It's just one of the many reasons why I LOVE Summer!
We'll start with the Lehi Round-up Rodeo:: My singles stake decided to buy tickets for the rodeo for "Singles Night" our ward had some tickets so I decided to go with my ward and my friends from another ward! It was pretty great, i'm not into rodeos too much, but it was fun to go with my friends!
This is me and my dear friend Rachel :)

They were having a race between Utah and BYU, and of course UTAH won! :)

I switched seats a couple of times, but this is when I was sitting by some friends in my singles ward :)

Then we headed to Logan for Talon's blessing and Braydens Birthday celebration!!

On July 3rd, after work I was driving home from work when I saw the big smoke cloud from the mountain over by Cedar Hills and Alpine. It looked like a Volcano had erupted, it was crazy with all of the pictures on Facebook! (Luckily the fire is out now, after we were blessed with much needed rain!) Then it was the 4th of July!! In the morning me and my parents went for a bike ride up to the mouth of the canyon from our house. It took about an hr and half, but it was way fun! My dad and I got the balloons ready for our "balloon toss" which ended up being just a water fight thanks to Kenzie :) We had out annual Dutch oven turkey and jello and yummy food! I was really bad at taking pictures this year, so I stole some from Kenzie and I took some of her kids earlier too.. but it was a great 4th of July and day off of work!!

This is what i made for the blessing and the fourth- it's called "Brownie Batter Dip" I found the recipe on Pinterest and I thought it sounded awesome! And it was! haha

On tuesday night while Kenzie and Matt were gone- we put on a movie and right away Brayden goes: "Chelsey you should take a picture of me and emery right here." silly kid! haha!

Then I went on a way fun date with this guy named steven. Sorry for the terrible quality- but it was taken with a phone, and it's fine, it looks like i have a green beard, no big deal. haha

So I've been telling my dad for forever that I want to go to an RSL Soccer game, SOOO... I my dad came home one day and gave me some tickets! I guess some guy that he knows had season tickets and they were nice enough to let us go to the game and use there seats! They were awesome seats too! They won 3-0 and it was awesome!!

You can tell we are really big fans, haha! We didn't have any RSL shirts, so we just wore red, because that's one of there colors! haha! oh well, maybe next time!

This is just during warm-ups, but look how close we were!!

This is the first time I actually had to explain a sport and it's rules to my dad, instead of the other way around! haha!
