I'd say it was going fairly well until about Thursday when I opened up my email in the morning to find out my math class was really on Tuesdays AND Thursday's! So good news everyone. I missed my first day of class! Hahaha! I couldn't believe it! I was so mad! So I emailed my professor, and got everything worked out. (After I attended class on Thursday, I soon realized I was not the only person to have this mistake) So, this was definitely an exciting start to my semester! Other than that, I learned I need to do my history homework sooner in the week and relearn what margin formations are for college papers, and learn to discuss matters about the class assignment and my opinion on what leadership means to me online with complete strangers called my classmates, and lets not forget to mention relearning how to do long division. Probably haven't had to do that since I was in 4th grade thanks to a calculator! :)
College is interesting so far! It's not bad, but, it's also not fun! I like having free time, so this is definitely a free time sucker. It's also a good thing to not have too much free time, because when I did, I spent it doing things I don't really need to do! So I guess this will help me eliminate those things! :) I've never loved school. I like learning new things, but I hate busy work and I'm not a big fan of really stressful tests. Haha! But, Heavenly Father keeps telling me I'm doing a good thing, so I guess this is where trust comes in to play! I know I'm where I need to be, but it will definitely be an adjustment!
It's been great because I've really had to set out a time for studying and I actually do it! Not only for school work, but for the gospel as well! I've started to read The Book of Mormon every day with the Instagram app and it's been going great! I feel so much peace about where my life is headed, even though it's really hard! But there is not comfort in the growing zone and there is not growing in the comfort zone. Wish I could say I thought of that myself, but I didn't! haha! Honestly, I don't know where I heard it, but I love it! It's so true!
So here's to late nights, and busy days and much much learning!
