Into the hands of every individual is given a marvelous power for good or evil- the silent, unconscious, unseen influence of his life. This is simply the constant radiation of what man really is, not what he pretends to be. ~ William George Jordan

February

So I feel like February flew by! So I guess it's time for me to do some updates! There have been some big things happening in my life as of lately. I'm still working at The Alpine Credit Union and I really enjoy what I do. I know I'm just a teller, but I really love the fact that days are slow and then days are busy. It helps me get my homework done and I really love my co-workers. We all get along really well and we try to have fun at work too! It helps the slow days go by faster!

So I guess I should introduce you to Aaron! haha! I realize, I'm not big on Social media and putting my whole life out there, but this month involves a pretty great guy! I spend most of my free time with him, (or homework)! He is in my singles ward, but we also both graduated from American Fork High and the same year! We didn't really know each other in High school, but we re-met in the good ole' singles ward and things have been going well! These pictures are not the best pictures you'll ever see, but unfortunately we are pretty terrible at taking pictures... so this is what you get! haha!

A couple of days before Valentines day I had a huge surprise come into my work! He had a huge bouquet delivered to my work! I was definitely surprised!

I told Aaron about a week before Valentines day that someone at my work had given me two tickets to the BYU basketball game on Valentines day... we had already been to a couple of games, so I told him that if he wanted to do something else, that was fine, they were free anyways! He tried to act like all cool and said it was fine, we could do whatever, but I could tell he was really excited about the tickets so I told him we should take them and go! We had a really good time!

My work had their 60th Annual meeting on the 17th of February and they wanted us to get all dressed up and come and have a nice dinner and win prizes! As you can see, Rachel ended up winning a Camera and I.... won nothing :) Seems to be the Clark curse, we never seem to win much of anything! haha! That's okay, I was really only excited about their big prize of a vacation to San Diego!

Natalie (my trainee on my mission) and I were invited by the Savage family to come over and talk about our missions together! It was a lot of fun to see Michal and her little baby and her family again! I haven't seen them in years so it was good to be around them again! They have such an amazing family and such a strong spirit in their home. You just walk in and are hit with such a strong spirit. I hope to have a home just like them when I have my own home. Natalie was in Bro Savage's stake back before her mission, and when we made that connection on the mission we were so excited! We both really love this family and loved going back and thinking and talking about our missions!

I just really love this Temple. I love that I live so close to such a beautiful temple! I truly feel blessed to live in a place where we have temples all around! I know I don't take advantage of that as often as I should, but I just love the spirit I can feel, even when I'm just sitting in the temple parking lot. I think I figured that out at a young age and I always drive to temple parking lot even for just 15 mins to think and pray and have some quiet time. It's one of my favorite places to go.

School is going really well as well. I feel overwhelmed every Monday when I look at my week work load, but it gets done each week and I know Heavenly Father helps me get this accomplished. I try to always put Him first each day and things just seem to work out. I'm really grateful for the gospel and for the realness of the promises He gives to us. He has promised us so many wonderful blessings and if we just do what He asks, they will come to pass. I am so grateful for Him and for His patience with me as I learn!
