The Happenings as of late

This weekend was quite busy, probably my first busy weekend since being home from my Vacation! It was nice to be busy all day, but my weekend went by way WAY to fast! 

On Friday, I went to a Halloween Dance that was at the UVU Institute building. I couldn't decide what to be, and I went shopping the day before and it was a disaster. There is nothing out there for a young adult that isn't slutty, or.. well there really is nothing else. It's kinda sad. It's all just very immodest. So I improvised and came up with this cute outfit: (thanks Mandy for the idea:)) 

I mean, I thought it was better than my other options that I tried such as::

or my idea's of a pumpkin or an 80's girl, or a cat.. etc. It was just better! If I can say so myself! :)

Overall the dance was pretty fun!! I had so much fun meeting new people, and seeing my friends! I also loved seeing people from my Singles Ward that I haven't seen in months!! So it was fun! 

Then on Saturday I went with my friend Cami to pick out her Wedding dress!! She is getting married on Feb 2, 2013-I would love to be here for it, but at the same time, I would love to just leave on my mission. If you know what I mean. She ended up finding her dress... 5 hrs after being there! haha! It was long, but so worth it- it's really pretty! Then later I went down to Provo and went to a birthday get together for Cami's Fiancé. I got to see some old friends there as well! 

Then on sunday I went with my friend Nicole to Kyle Clements Homecoming!! I cannot believe we are already having out friends come home from missions!! It's the best ever! We were saying how much we enjoyed homecomings instead of farewells! I can't wait for everyone to come home, even though now i'm leaving! haha! oh well! Overall the weekend was very fun and entertaining and I will end with some picts from the homecoming. Thanks melissa allen :)
