Into the hands of every individual is given a marvelous power for good or evil- the silent, unconscious, unseen influence of his life. This is simply the constant radiation of what man really is, not what he pretends to be. ~ William George Jordan

Grandma's

I love my grandma Robinson. Well, Grandma Clark too.. but she is no longer here with us :) I've been wanting to write this down for awhile, and I just remembered, so before i forget--

The day after I got my call to the Alpine-german speaking mission I wanted to call Grandma Robinson and tell her where I will be serving. We've been talking about it a lot before I got my call, so now that I knew- I decided to call her. It went like this::

Grandma: Hello?
Me: Hi Grandma, This is Chelsey.
Grandam: Ok, hi.
Me: Hi! How are you?
Grandma: Oh I'm ok.
Me: Well that's good. Well, I wanted to call you and tell you my good news!
Grandma: Oh?! you have good news??
Me: Yeah! I got my mission call! Do you have any last guesses on where I'll be serving?
Grandma: hmmmm.. well lets see.. *Long pause* How about Southern Utah?
Me: haha! Nope. Germany!
Grandma: GERMANY??! What? Well that is not what I expected! You can go there?
Me: Yep! I can!
Grandma: Well that's nice. Thanks for calling. Bye!
Me: Bye grandma!

Oh goodness- I can't make it sounds as funny as it was! But.. her reaction was THE BEST!!! She was so funny!! I love my Grandma :)
