Woah.. I leave in 8 weeks tomorrow, where did the time go?! I mean, some days it goes by super slow, but seriously I look back and I'm amazed at how fast it's gone! This past weekend was a busy one! I got to spend my friday night with my parents-we watched "New Years Eve" and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! haha! Then.. On saturday I spent it shopping with my parents for mission stuff and then I headed out to a Bridal Shower for one of my really good friends Cami. I've known Cami since I was in Kindergarten! She is getting married January 12th and I'm invited to attend the sealing! I couldn't be more excited!!
On Sunday it was my best friend Rachel's farewell! I got to see my other BFF nicole there as well which was so great! Rachel did so great and I'm so proud of her! It's been a long time coming for her and she's finally heading out! She leaves on Wednesday (tomorrow) and I think I'm in denial. haha! No, I'm really excited for her, but it's so weird to think that I won't see her until I get home in the summer of 14'! I can't believe all of the changes in my life lately! My two best friends from Elementary school are leaving (mission/Marriage) and I'll be heading out in February! It's so crazy! I can't wait to see what the next adventure of a mission will be like! I hope I don't get delayed though! I've heard the MTC is SO packed. My friend who is going to Germany (Frankfurt mission) was going to be leaving on Jan 23rd and now she isn't leaving until my day (feb 6th) So hopefully I don't get delayed two weeks! GAh! that would be the worst!
I also can't believe that Christmas is in a week!!! What?! I don't even know what to do with that information! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see family and will miss all of the family that won't be here! :( It's not the same around here without everyone, but it will be so good to spend my last christmas for awhile here with the family I have here! :) Just think, next year I'll be calling from Germany, Switzerland, or Austria! I've been looking at a lot of information about those places and I found this picture: I think it's pretty awesome! haha!
