Christmas 2014 & New years!

Christmas this year was so great! I had been looking forward to Christmas so much since it was my first Christmas being at home from my mission.  The traditions have changed throughout the years, so this year we were able to spend a lot of time with Jason and Mandy and their family, and Kenzie and Matt and their kids! It was a lot of fun for me to be all together on Christmas eve and Christmas! It was really something I had been looking forward to, so I'm happy we were able to gather all together at Kenzie and Matt's home this year! We ate some crepes and other breakfast foods, made gingerbread houses and played Christmas bingo! On Christmas mom and dad and I woke up early and went over to Kenzie and Matt's house and watched this kids open their christmas presents from Santa and their parents! It was so fun to see them get SO excited! It's been awhile since i've had kids around on Christmas morning, but it's always more magical with them around because they get so excited!! I really loved it! We opened presents at Matt and Kenzie's as well with Jason and Mandy's family later that morning as well and then we headed back to our place for lunch! It was such a fun day and I'm so happy we were able to spend so much time with each other!

My MTC companion ChaiDee got married about 2 weeks ago and it's always so fun because it's always a mini mission reunion! We saw President and Sister Miles and a bunch of past elders and sisters! :)

Sister packer is Home! All of my companions are now home from their missions!!! I can't even believe it!

We had a little German Christmas party and it was so fun to get dressed up and speak german!

My little golden came home and I am just loving it!! I can't believe how fast those 4 months went! 

We are true companions! We even have matching iPhone cases!

So a few years ago, we had these Rudolf noses as a prize and mom found it in our bingo pieces cup and so as a joke I decided to wear it as I called out the pictures! They all thought it was pretty funny and the kids couldn't stop wearing it afterwards!

It was a Christmas miracle!! It snowed!! The kids were so excited for the snow... the adults. Not so much! But we always love a White Christmas

We also had a mini Salzburg reunion with Elder Halversen being back from Indiana finally!! So fun to be together again!

We had a fun New years catching up and playing games!

I'm excited for the new year, I'm also curious of what it will bring!! I'll be starting school on Monday and well... I'm pretty excited; but nervous as well! It'll be interesting to see how I get my schedule all figured out! It'll all work out, I really feel peace about it.. so here's to trusting God and His plan! I've really tried thinking about goals and things I actually really want to accomplish this year and I have a pretty good list! Not too many, and not enough, I spent a lot of time in prayer about it and I just really love the list i've come up with!
